A 1970s Alan Grainger Arts & Crafts Adzed Oak coffee table, full of character and charm. This would have been hand made at his workshop in North Yorkshire, including the wonderful adzed top and side panels. Alan was one of the Yorkshire Critters, a movement in furniture making that includes Robert "Mousey" Thompson and Rabbit-man Heap, a group who developed a world renowned style and character of oak furniture with stunning quality and craftsmanship. This table is unusual with the inclusion of a magazine rack underneath.
