This is very rare, believed to be one of ten produced by Antonio Borsato's studio in Milan Italy around 1940. It is part of a series of stations of the cross produced by Borsato, this being the Thirteenth Station and the rarest of all. It depicts Jesus be taken from the cross after his crucifixion. The Piece is in excellent condition for its 80+ years with only very minor blemishes, (small missing leaves etc) the main structure is fault free, and a rare find.
